Hearing Aids
The latest hearing aid technology for all hearing needs
Approximately 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. Out of those millions of people, only 20% of adults actually wear hearing aids. At The Hearing Group, we provide education on hearing health and a variety of top-of-the-line hearing aids to help you. From Bluetooth hearing aids to rechargeable devices, we have an option for anyone.
As a private hearing clinic, we carry devices from the major hearing aid brands. We will always customize our recommendations to you, and you can be confident that any hearing device we suggest is the best fit.
Styles of Hearing Aids
We carry all styles of hearing aids, including the following:
Receiver-in-Canal
Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) hearing aids are reliable and convenient. These have a lightweight feel to them and a flexible fit.
Behind-the-Ear
Behind-the-Ear (BTE) hearing aids put you in control with customizable fit options, wireless connectivity, and easy volume control.
Completely-in-Canal
Completely-in-Canal (CIC) hearing aids are sleek and subtle. This technology is molded to the unique contours of your ear for a superior fit that offers a natural look and hearing experience.
In-the-Canal
In-the-Canal (ITC) hearing aids are discreet and have a glasses-friendly fit with external controls.
In-the-Ear
In-the-Ear (ITE) hearing aids are custom molded for you. They are powerful and comfortable, allowing for all-day use.
Invisible-In-the-Canal
Invisible-In-the-Canal (IIC) hearing aids are the smallest hearing instrument available. These are for people who want ultimate discretion while benefiting from the natural acoustics of the external ear.
Open BTE
Open BTE are behind-the-ear devices that have an open fit. This type of hearing aid provides amplification via a small tube inserted into the ear canal.

At The Hearing Group, we don’t just sell hearing aids, we are licensed audiologists in West Orange who understand that no two people experience hearing loss the same way. Lyric hearing aids are unlike any other hearing aid on the market. These are a completely invisible, hassle-free option that we place directly in your ear canal. For two months at a time, you can forget your Lyric hearing aids are even in your ears because you won’t have to take them out to clean them or change a battery. At the end of that two months, you will come back to our office and we’ll replace your hearing aids with another set. Lyric hearing aids aren’t suitable for every hearing loss, but many people have found them to be a life-changer.
